QUALITY & SAFETY MANAGER


Bali International Flight Academy (BIFA) is looking for experienced candidates for QUALITY & SAFETY MANAGER position.

Duties:

  • Ensure continued compliance of all policies, procedures and training activities with the CASRs.
  • Ensure that all policies, procedures and administrative systems associated with training are complied with by all the personnel involved.
  • Review the TPM at regular intervals to ensure the effectiveness, validity and viability of the content of the manual and amend the TPM if necessary.
  • Arrange for internal QA audits periodically which are conducted by an independent auditor who is not involved in the day to day training.
  • Augment the adherence of training activities to ICAO Standard and Recommended Practices (ISARPs) and good aviation practices.
  • Prepare the necessary paperwork for the renewal of The Pilot School Certificate.
  • Manage and oversee the implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS).
  • Conduct safety audits and/or risk assessments.
  • Ensure continuous assessment and updating of the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and the Company Crisis Manual (CCM).
  • Prepare recommendations for safety improvement based on surveys and other industry related safety concerns.
  • Oversee and conduct SMS training for staff associated with flight operations, training and other key personnel.

Qualifications :

  • A minimum 5 years experiences as a Pilot.
  • Experience as a trainer and or administrator at a recognized pilot school.
  • Demonstrated ability to administer a quality control program.
  • Max 55 years old.
  • Physical and mental healthy.
  • Willing to stay at Buleleng – Bali.

Certified Engineer

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer / AMEL Holder Requirements

  • Holds an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License (A & P)
  • Cessna 172 and/or Piper Seminole P44 series
  • Minimum Experience Requirement as Releaseman: 2 years
  • Max. Age limit 40 years old
  • Good health
  • Understand Technical English
  • Located based out of Buleleng, Bali

Ground Instructor

We are seeking ground instructors with the following qualifications :

  • Ground Instructor Rating/Certificate with instrument teaching privileges OR Flight Instructor and Instrument ratings issued by the Indonesian DGCA or an ICAO contracting state
  • ICAO English Level 4+
  • A minimum of 3 years teaching experience
  • Knowledge of several aviation-related subjects
  • Knowledge of the C172 and PA-44 aircraft and Indonesian CASRs is preferred
  • Experience in General Aviation Aircraft
Additionally, candidates must be willing to :

  • Live between our Buleleng, Bali and Banyuwangi, Java bases
  • Work 5-6 days a week
  • Teach at other satellite bases for short periods
  • Teach a wide variety of aviation topics
Instructors employed at BIFA receive the following :
  • Room and board provided at all bases
  • A return ticket to your home/home country
  • Basic medical plan included

Flight Instructor

The Bali International Flight Academy (BIFA) is looking for experienced flight instructors to guide our students through the PPL, CPL, IR and Multi-Engine stages. With a fleet of 18 Cessna 172s and 3 Piper Seminoles, we are one of Indonesia’s largest flight training providers. BIFA’s main base is located in Buleleng, Bali while our satellite bases are located on the islands of Lombok, Java, and Kalimantan. We are seeking instructors with the following qualifications :


  • Commercial Pilot License or Airline Transport Pilot License issued by the Indonesian DGCA or an ICAO contracting state
  • A valid 1st Class Medical
  • ICAO English Level 4+
  • Instrument Rating
  • Flight Instructor Rating
  • Instrument Training Privileges
  • Minimum Total Flight Time: 1000 hrs
  • Minimum Instructing Time: 500 hrs
  • Prior teaching experience on the C172 and PA-44 is preferable
Additionally, candidates must be willing to :

  • Work 6 days a week
  • Work at least 90 hours a month
  • Move every few months between bases
